Fast forward to January 23rd We have Early Access launch which is awesome! As later people digging through the gamefiles it come clear that the game use Unreal Engine 5.\nThought because I liked this series far way back in PS2 era, I decided to maybe give back small contribution to the community by making custom GUI app for save editing the game.\nYou can check my repo for the app itself\nrafliard23/txr-use-py GUI-based save file editor for Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2025 Python 18 1 It\u0026rsquo;s a wrapper app # Tokyo Xtreme Racer Save Editor app layer overview First roadblock that came to me was Serial-Deserialize the save file. Unreal game are saved in a way that\u0026rsquo;s packed by specific function. The save file structure are clear enough that you can edit it with hex editor however we would encounter byte collision if we add or remove additional bytes into the file, thus we would move in ready-to-use tool to save time not to mention this is my first UE5 game that I play! (well I don\u0026rsquo;t want to spend time writing Ser-Des function myself).\nThere goes I found this fancy cli tool that enough for my use case. Serial and Deserialize the UE save file (.sav) into JSON document (.json) and vice versa.\ntrumank/uesave Rust library and CLI to read and write Unreal Engine save files Rust 422 69 By any means the cli tool alone is the save editor itself, however to make things easier for user we can add additional front end to edit what user want and convert it from the value into respective block of data that need to be edited then save it as .sav file once player hit \u0026ldquo;Save\u0026rdquo; or \u0026ldquo;Save As\u0026rdquo;\nHow it works # Loading File Process # Loading save file deserialize into .json file First and foremost the Editor UI needs you to load a save file .sav which we will save the path for processing later on. This path will be piped to uesave-cli which converts the .sav into .json onto specified folder we set.\nEditing Data # Open loop data editing overview Once we have our .json save file, we can edit it right away and adjust any value according to valid range and reasonable set. Almost any value related to player character can be edited that affect achievements however for in-game freeroam related check they may checked over raceinfo entry that loaded in transient or volatile in memory during gameplay. This save editor front end at best very basic as I don\u0026rsquo;t want to expand the GUI to attribute larger customization (e.g plate modding, muffler swap and some tricky edits). Once we complete edit the value, we can write our changes into the .json file.\nPut it back as .sav # Saving .json file into save file This process handled by uesave-cli with help of GUI to retrieve our original path of .sav file and as conversion output path of uesave-cli.\nRemark # I believe the next logical step would be implement this editor as in-game Trainer to make things more streamlined and contained within the game. Although I have not start the process as a lot of things to do in real life, maybe somebody would make it before I complete it myself, who knows. Secara harfiah, membaca sendiri bisa bermakna \u0026ldquo;menangkap\u0026rdquo; informasi dengan menggunakan indra manusia yang menghasilkan ide, analisa, pertimbangan, dan pemecahan masalah terhadap konflik atau problem saat itu. Membaca mampu memangkas waktu kita dalam proses transfer knowledge karena kita tidak perlu orang lain untuk menangkap informasi yang disodorkan atau dibutuhkan.\nPembiasaan membaca manual book sangat krusial sebagai developer atau engineer, semakin terbiasa kita membaca datasheet semakin mudah kita mendapatkan informasi yang kita inginkan dengan waktu yang lebih efisien. Dalam proyek ini, saya dibantu dengan rekan-rekan satu kelompok untuk membuat mesin CNC Plasma cutting menggunakan bahan-bahan yang telah ada di lokasi bengkel workshop pada saat itu. Untuk kebutuhan mekanik (Desain, serta perwujudan benda) telah direalisasikan sehingga untuk pengerjaan kami adalah rewiring komponen, memrogram komponen dengan Mach 3 (pada komputer), serta penyetelan parameter untuk skema kontrol open loop motor servo.\nRangka Mesin CNC yang akan digunakan. Untuk pengerjaan yang saya lakukan, saya mengecek kelayakan komponen yang akan digunakan, karena \u0026ldquo;Mesin\u0026rdquo; CNC ini dibuat dengan alat dan bahan yang ada pada waktu itu, konfigurasi aktuator yang digunakan juga bisa dibilang unik karena motor stepper yang digunakan adalah motor stepper ukuran Nema 17 dengan masing-masing sumbu memiliki dua motor stepper untuk membagi beban.\nFoto breakout board Mach3. Karena penggunaan program kendali proses CNC yang digunakan masih menggunakan Mach3, maka kami memerlukan untuk mencari komputer dengan port Paralel agar mesin CNC bisa dikendalikan langsung oleh komputer. Penggunaan komputer dengan port Paralel ini sangat penting karena kemampuan untuk Torch Height Control (THC) hanya dapat digunakan pada board dengan port Paralel, board CNC Mach3 yang menggunakan interface USB tidak dapat menggunakan fitur ini karena pada program kontroler bawaan board CNC Mach3 USB tidak diimplementasikan untuk Plasma cutting, hanya mampu untuk digunakan sebagai CNC Milling/Laser Cutting.\nTampilan interface program Mach3. Setelah selesai penyetelan kalibrasi motor stepper+driver terhadap program Mach3, kemudian dilakukan penyetelan Torch Height Control (THC) dengan membuat kontroler THC sendiri (berbasis Voltage divider dan ADC op-amp). Pembuatan kontrol THC ini menggunakan prinsip kondisi tegangan dari Torch ketika Torch menyala, Torch akan memiliki nilai tegangan threshold ketika tegangan ini melibihi ambang batas, maka Torch akan menempel pada pelat ketika proses pemotongan sheet metal, hal ini terjadi karena nilai tegangan tersebut dihasilkan dari beda potensial tegangan yang terjadi antara ujung Torch dengan sheet metal yang akan dipotong, sehingga perbedaan tegangan ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi untuk kontrol ketinggian Torch ketika proses cutting sheet metal.\nBerikut ini adalah demo dari mesin yang telah dikalibrasi dengan mencoba profil cutting sederhana\n","date":"Wednesday, 16 February 2022, 11:59","externalUrl":null,"permalink":"/id/projects/cncplasma/","section":"Projects","summary":"Proyek ini merupakan salah satu proyek Kerja Praktik saya di CV. This research development acts as internal research and entry for the National Aeronautical Robot Competition (Kontes Robot Terbang Indonesia abbreviated as KRTI) for the year 2021.\nAs a team, we are Dirgantara PENS team under EEPIS Flying Robot for Indonesia (EFRISA) flag, EFRISA compete in Techno Development category with sub team that each participates on each sub division competition. In Airframe Innovation sub team, we are five-person team with three being handler for several tasks and two person as a crew helping to complete the tasks. In this team, I am handled electrics and hardwares of UAV, for some occasion I also help mechanical maintenance and manufacture.\nOverview # Assembled UAV and its Packaging EEPIS Versatile Cargo Aeroplane (EVARO) is UAV that developed with logistic background. This UAV submission in the National Aeronautical Robot Competition 2021 on Techno Development category with Airframe Innovation sub division. In this category, scoring was determined by development that conducted on developed UAV for each entrant, for this sub division airplane configuration, system, and airframe component are the main inspected parts for scoring.\nBlueprint of EVARO UAV Specification detail of UAV EVARO:\nConfiguration: Skyhunter Hybrid Tilt Rotor Hybrid Classification: Hybrid VTOL Tail: V-Tail Propulsion: 3 Motor; 2 Motor Hybrid, dan 1 Fixed Vertical Wingspan: 1400mm Length: 970mm Maximum Take off Weight (MTOW): 3200g Maximum payload Weight: 500g Material: Composite and PET Electrics Hardwares # Aside of usual UAV electrical hardwares, this development add a \u0026ldquo;Tilt rotor\u0026rdquo; which mount a motor into a servo motor arm so the motor orientation can be controlled in order to achieve hybrid configuration (Fixed Wing Aircraft and VTOL plane). During VTOL stage, all three motors used to propel the UAV into higher altitude, and as the UAV achieve enough altitude to transition into Cruise mode (Fixed Wing aircraft), the tilt rotor will rotates from facing upward to face forward to act as twin motor UAV with the fixed vertical motor shutdown during Cruise mode to save more energy during flight. Compared to Quad Plane configuration, this configuration save better energy as the motor count lower and most of flight going to have maximum of two motor turned on.\nUtilization of Servo motor for Tilt rotor To achieve this hybrid configuration, we use Gearboxed Servo in order to control motor during flight. We have tested 15kg gearbox is enough but for competition and research, we opted to use 35kg for safety factor. Tilt rotors mounted on each servo motor arm with motor heading facing same orientation as servo arm.\nTilt Rotor Servo Drive # Servo motor for tilting the motor With the way tilt steering works, the servo motor also controls the yaw movement during VTOL phase, the servos react accordingly based on gyroscope input and then balances the UAV. The servos during VTOL phase has angle travel limits for its up facing orientation with 15° limit tilting forward. During Cruise mode, the servos hold on the 0° angle to ensure maximum forward force.
